For years I've been programming the 'walk-in' music @ gigs along Chicago's tours. My taste and knowledge probably isn't as broad as I would like think it is, but I love music, virtually all genres.
I feel good when I hear a great song, or performance, whether vocal or instrumental. Sometimes it's the sonic character of the recording, or the beat loops, the samples, or how deeply the emotional element strikes me.
While trying to stay current and open to new music, this list encompasses both newer and older albums. I'm finding, like many music lovers, that the date of origin has become unimportant.
This group of tracks, and those that follow, may communicate some part of who I am, for anyone interested.
